Nick & Nora
Hi – our puppies which we purchased from you are now almost a year old – Feb 14 is their birthday. Their names are Nick and Nora – like the husband and wife detective team who starred in movies from the 1940’s. They have been terrific. We love them. And this was the first dog experience for both of us. So I guess we got lucky.
Nick, who you may recall was the biggest in his litter, is 44 lbs. Nora is 36 lbs. They look identical from a distance. However, up close he is quite a bit larger. He has a huge frame for a medium size dog. I could see him eventually getting to 50 lbs without being fat. They couldn’t be nicer. If anything they are too friendly, and sometimes jump on people. But we are working on that. When we ask them to go to bed, they walk right into their crates and go to sleep for 8 – 9 hours. They have practically never made a noise – even during heavy rain and thunder. We are smitten with them. Hope all is well with you and the other members of the litter. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to see all twelve of them together now that they are grown. Wow!

Eowyn

We are so happy with our Wheaten! I named her Eowyn from Return of the King. She is a wonderful addition to our family-we LOVE her! She gets along almost too well with our Rottie;) She is very loving, smart and funny, too. I’d definitely buy another from you in the future. I am very pleased with her.
Chance

It’s been a great almost year and one half since we picked up Chance back on a cold/snowy February 2014 Saturday. We all love him so much and that love is returned all the time. Chance is a smart, energetic and obedient member or our family. He loves his walks, time in the woods, water and snow! He is great with all other dogs and people alike. Your description of him back at that time was right on. Chance loves to play, but at the same time loves to sit with us at our feet when we are having down time. We are truly blessed and fortunate to have him with us. Hope all is well with all of you in Pennsylvania. We definitely have a bond with your family now that Chance is a part of ours.

Sadie
Sadie is doing great. She loves the water and is super playful. We left her tail alone and we are SO thrilled with that decision. It is always fun to watch her get excited about playing when her tail wags. I keep her hair trimmed in the “puppy cut” and love the look. It’s not the traditional Wheaten, but I like it better for Sadie. ~Kristen
Teddy
If you’re reading this, chances are you discovered Julie Bradford’s ‘Wind Song Wheatens’ the same way I did– by scouring the internet searching for one of the happiest, bounciest, lovingest (is that a word), dogs on the planet. And, if you’re within driving distance to Millersburg, Pennsylvania, you can stop searching!
Julie carefully chooses the puppy parents, births them in her home, starts their vet care, gets them acclimated to a crate environment (which greatly aids housebreaking and care) and handles them to get them used to humans.
Our concern, upon adoption of a puppy, was his health. Julie stands behind each one, that gave us the confidence we needed when making the commitment to own a Wind Song Wheatie. Teddy is all the things we looked for in a dog and more. Here he is with his ‘mom’. I think this picture pretty much says it all.
Thanks Julie!

If you are looking for a Wheaten puppy you came to the right place. Julie’s Wheatens are the best! Wheatens are great family goods and always a ton of fun. Good with children and wonderful temperaments make these dogs the best family dog you can find. Also the non shedding aspect is a plus!
8 years ago a purchased my first Wheaten pup from Julie and I just purchased a second one in August 2017. Julie’s Wheatens are loved and brought up in a family environment which makes the transition from her home to yours less stress on the puppy. Wheatens are great dogs, and if you are going to add a Wheaten to your family make it one of Julie’s.

Sullivan

I purchased my first Wheaten Terrier from Windsong Wheatens, and when I am ready for my second pup, I would never consider purchasing from any other breeder but Julie! Sullivan has been the best addition to my family. He is truly my best buddy and I will never own any other breed but Wheaten Terriers. He is so sociable and gets along with other dogs, especially his Jack Russell cousins, as well as people. His favorite thing to do is visit the makeup counter ladies at Nordstrom. He gives them his “Wheaten Greetin” along with a bunch of kisses. I consistently get nothing but compliments on how gorgeous he is and how wonderful his temperament is. I owe a lot of that to Julie! From the beginning, she asked questions to make sure that her pups are going to good homes and that the fit will work for both the needs of the owners, as well as the pups. She sent updated pictures of the puppies throughout their first 8 weeks and kept you updated on the progress of your baby! She is very knowledgeable about the breed and is available for any questions that you may have. She loves each puppy as if they were her own and truly cares about the home situation that they go to. My Sullivan is sweet, loving, mild tempered because of his care during the most critical first weeks of his little life. You will be very happy with your choice of a Wheaten Terrier from Windsong Wheatens!

Mully

We got our pup, Mully Muller, from Windsong Wheatens and love working with Julie. We could not imagine our lives without our fur baby. She is the cutest thing we’ve ever seen and she’s the star of the neighborhood, dog park, and really everywhere she goes. Working with Windsong was the best choice we’ve made. We are first time dog owners and from the minute we contacted Julie until the day we picked up our pup, we were pleased. Julie is helpful, responsive, and breeds and raises extremely healthy, happy puppies. We have had no problems with our pup’s health and she is a wheatie through and through. She gives wheaten greetins, sleeps on her back with her paws up in the air, and is the friendliest, most playful, and sweetest dog we’ve ever met! We have been compliment by both a Vetrinarian and a dog trainer on her temperament and behavior. We would, and have, recommended Windsong to everyone who’s asked about our girl.

Yogi
Our home is so full of love ever since we brought our wheaten Yogi into our home that we got from Windsong Wheatens. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by that we are not laughing at his funny antics or giving love and kisses and getting so many in return. He is the sweetest dog we have ever owned and we love him so much. This is by far our favorite breed dog we have ever had the pleasure to get to know and we are now wheaten fans forever!!! Thank you Julie for doing such a great job with your breeding, because of you, these dogs are such kind, loving, sweet, funny, affectionate, playful, cuddly members of our family.
